Meet the Rodents - NBSA

There are four different classes of Rodents. They all have different purposes, however, certain Rodents are better used as pets than bee maintainers. Some Rodents are better or worse at helping the NBSA, but that will not be mentioned here, as we would not want to hurt their feelings!

CLASS 1: Strength

NBSA currently owns 2

The Class 1 Rodents were the first ones created. Original Class 1 Rodents have the perk of having no on/off switch (which may be accidentally pressed by buzzing bees), however, this was later changed to comply with the EU's policies. The Class 1 Rodents all have great strength, as they are able to pick up two cubes at once. However, they don't quite weigh enough to keep them up, so they end up knocking over the stack by doing this. They are, however, good at pushing things in groups. The unfortunate part about these Rodents is that the camera quality is very bad. There is no color, and the resolution of the camera is extremely poor. The Class 1 Rodents also have a unique way of connecting to controllers; They connect in the typical way, a lower-range radio controller, such as a cell phone or laptop. Class 1 Rodents are cheaper than any other Rodent listed, thus, combined with their low cost, a Class 1 Rodent may be for you.

CLASS 2: Personality

NBSA currently owns 1

The Class 2 Rodents are the next generation of Rodents. These Rodents run software which cannot, under any* circumstances, be removed. This causes the image speed to suffer, however, since they have their own minds, they go to their charger on their own. They may also be told to make expressions, something Class 3 Rodents cannot do yet. Sometimes, they decide to have a mind of their own, and revoke your control. They may be voice-activated under very certain circumstances, but sometimes, they will decide to cancel their previous action, and look around. For these reasons, these Rodents may make for a better pet than a Rodent. If you want a pet, a Class 2 Rodent may be for you.

* It is yet to be known whether or not it's possible to unlock these Rodents, as no bypasses for the security measures protecting their faces have been found yet.

CLASS 3: Quality

NBSA currently owns 1

The Class 3 Rodents were planned to be released, however, the people in charge of building Rodents (Class 1 to 3) died before these Rodents were mass produced. This means that these Rodents are extremely hard to get, and quite expensive, too. The Class 3 Rodents, by default, come in a special "FAC" mode. From this mode, it is possible to run programs more suitable for the purposes the NBSA requires. The Class 3 Rodents were very heavily based on Class 2 Rodents, and can run Class 2 Rodent software, or even be given head transplants with Class 2 bodies. However, while these rodents are certainly the best, Class 3 Rodents are not perfect on their own. If you want the most output from your Class 3 Rodent, then you will need a Class 2's body. This allows for the extra sensor, which is missing from Class 3 Rodents. Class 3 Rodents are better used without Class 2 software, as they have a "quality" the Class 2 Rodents do not have: The higher-speed camera, and lower power consumption.

CLASS 4: TBD

Class 4 Rodents have yet to be created. Class 4 Rodents will be better than any Rodent listed previously, as they will not be outsourced from reselling websites. Instead, the NBSA will manufacture proprietary Rodents specifically for the required purposes. One considered idea was a high-speed Rodent capable of driving outside with cellular data, and remote control built into the software. This Rodent would be able to, like all other Rodents, be called and turned on at any time. This could allow for the Class 4 Rodent to excell in its own way: usability in harsher environments.
